My stay at The Boathouse in Kennebunkport had its highlights and low points. I loved the location, right on the harbor and close to everything in town. However, my room was small and not very well maintained, which was disappointing. Despite that, the restaurant was a standout, with delicious food and a lively atmosphere.

Rooms

I found my room to be quite small and lacking in decor, with outdated paneling and poor lighting. The cleanliness could be better; I even found an old receipt hidden in the cushions. However, the bed was comfortable, which slightly made up for it.

The staff at The Boathouse were friendly and attentive, from the valets to the wait staff. Their effort truly enhanced my experience, especially when they surprised me with little gifts.

Dining at The Boathouse Restaurant was fantastic! The clam chowder was thick and flavorful, and the lobster roll was one of the best I've had. The service was professional, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meals.
Facilities

While some facilities were good, like the outdoor seating areas, I was disappointed by the lack of an elevator in my building. Carrying my luggage up a flight of stairs was quite a hassle.

My stay at The Boathouse was nothing short of amazing. I was greeted like a long-lost friend upon arrival and appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which offered a fantastic variety. While I loved the beautiful waterfront views from my room, the unavailability of the restaurant on a Tuesday left me feeling a little disappointed. Overall, I would gladly return for the charming atmosphere and friendly staff.

I had a fantastic stay at The Boathouse, especially enjoying the waterfront views and the friendly staff. The hotel is right in the heart of Kennebunkport, making it super easy to explore shops and restaurants nearby. However, I did notice some areas in my room that could use a bit of attention, which detracted from the overall experience. Still, I’d say it was well worth it for the beautiful setting and cozy atmosphere.

My room was clean and comfortable, with some lovely linens, although the stairs were a bit tiring for me.
